With the pandemic and years of voter suppression threatening fair and free democratic processes, the NBA opened up their empty arenas to be polling places and increase access to voting. Many other sports teams followed suit, creating iconic polling places in cities across America.
The Election Super Centers Project was a national awareness campaign that was localized around each of the 30+ arenas to drive voter turn out and make history.
In an election where democracy itself was on the line, we were able to contribute to the highest voter turnout in US history, adding hundreds of thousands votes through the project.
